For his work as the producer and host of "Burgundy & Gold Magazine," Mike Richman won 1st place in the Sports category at the 2012 Monty Awards presented by Montgomery Community Media (MCM).  The judges singled out his show that featured a profile on legendary Redskins LB Chris Hanburger, a Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. The awards ceremony took place at the Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C., on Nov. 18, 2012.  The award would have been unattainable without staunch support from Mike's crew members including Robert Snip, John Eftimiades, Stephen Leard, Diego Castillo and Bob Mattia.   Also key to the show's success were MCM staff members including Mandi Wyndham, Larry Merewitz, Ellen Donnelly, Bryan Lyles, Mike Bailey and Jon Sullivan.  Thanks to everyone!
