Sports Saturday w/ Al Galdi on ESPN 980 (Aug. 5, 2011)

On Aug. 5, 2011, Mike Richman appeared on Sports Saturday with host Al Galdi on ESPN 980 to discuss the upcoming induction of Redskins great Chris Hanburger into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hanburger played 14 seasons in the NFL and was one of the best linebackers of his era. He was known as the "Hangman" or the "Hammer" for his propensity to corral ball carriers around the neck and bring them down. He holds the Redskins record for most Pro Bowl appearances (nine). Hanburger was the fourth Redskin to enter the Hall of Fame since 2008, joining Darrell Green, Art Monk and Russ Grimm. Richman and Galdi also discussed other Redskins who are worthy of HOF induction, including running back Larry Brown, cornerback Pat Fischer, special teams star Brian Mitchell and wide receiver Gary Clark.
